I find that I really love Ward's main characters, but I'm frequently indifferent to her bad guys. I liked Maria-Therese, but I thought that in the last BDB book she was with Qhuinn and J-M. She made a comment in this book about not doing things like that. Maybe I need to reread and find out if I'm getting her mixed up with another character from the club.Also, M-T runs into some big guy going into a meeting. Is that supposed to be Phury? She makes you assume it is, but she doesn't specifically tell you. He was going to a community center for his classes before.
