It's absurd, but at least it wasn't 100% predictable. I'm so tired with being able to figure out who did it way too soon that I'm currently willing to forgive a lot to be left in the dark for as long as possible. Although, I did figure this one out way before the characters did, for once it wasn't in the first 1/2 of the book. There are a lot of plot issues left unresolved, but that's because they're being left for latter books. It drives me a bit nuts, but there was something likeable about her family so I'll give the next ones a try.
