What I liked about this one is that there was actually a bit of a twist. Some of the Bridgerton books are better with the plot and snark, but romance books seem very cookie cutter in general (unless you're Nicholas Sparks, but he's cookie cutter in his own way - someone will die). Everyone always gets the HEA. Somehow it all works out in the end. This time, there was a shocker toward the end of the book that I didn't see coming. Although, of course, it's still a romance and you get you're HEA, but at least there was a bit of a surprise for once.
