I'm going to keep my review short since I'm swamped today. An Inconvenient Affair was a fun, light read with characters that I were easy to get behind. I like the idea of this series, following men that met in a military school as kids. Each one has their own troubled past, and I look forward to reading about how they've grown up. I don't normally read Harlequin books, but I recognized Catherine Mann's name as the author of Under Fire and gave this one a chance. She's not an author that's going to blow you away with her skills, but if you're looking for something to read in order to just enjoy the time, she's more than capable to help you enjoy a few moments away from reality. I would love to see this series turn into something larger. There's the potential set up for a suspense thriller mixed with a romance that could prove to be a very successful series.
